How it works

How a commission works

Every job runs in the same four stages, so you know what happens and when.

  1. Stage 1

    Brief

Send us the location, size, dates and what you want the piece to do. We reply with questions and a quote.

  2. Stage 2

    Design

We choose the artist or artists, develop the artwork and share visuals for sign-off before anything is painted.

  3. Stage 3

    Build

We prepare the surface and paint to schedule, on site or in the workshop, with the access and safety kit the job needs.

  4. Stage 4

    Handover

We finish, photograph and hand over. For filming and events we also strike and clear the site.

FAQ

Street art commissions and set builds: your questions

Can you produce graffiti and street art sets for TV and film?

Yes. We have produced set artwork for TV and film, including at Pinewood Studios, from graffiti-covered walls and hoardings to aged shopfronts and full location dressing. We work to the art department's brief and can supply artists to paint on camera.

How much does a street art commission cost?

Cost depends on the size of the surface, the detail of the design, the number of artists, access equipment, materials and how long the work needs to last. Send us the location and a rough brief and we will give you a clear quote.

Do you work outside London?

Yes. We are based just outside London and work across London, the Home Counties and the rest of the UK.

How long does a mural or set build take?

A small feature wall can be finished in a day or two. Large murals and full set builds take longer. We agree a build schedule with you before work starts.

Do I need permission to paint a wall?

You need the property owner's written consent, and some walls also need planning or local authority permission. We can advise on what applies to your site.

Can street art be temporary or removable?

Yes. For events, filming and pop-ups we can paint on panels, boards and freestanding structures that are installed, struck and reused or removed after the job.

Can you work to a brand guideline?

Yes. We can match colours, typography and tone of voice, and we can pair your brand with an artist whose style suits it.
